FDC saves hungry Katakwi residents, donates relief

 Uganda’s leading opposition party the Forum for Democratic Party (FDC) has again volunteered to offer relief food to starving Ugandans Eastern region of the country.

According the party’s Secretary General Harold Kaija, says the party today has taken relief to Katakwi one of the districts that have been hit by famine.

“Today The Citizen Relief Initiative in conjunction with FDC and the People’s Government are heading to Katakwi to give out relief food to Ugandans who are hit by famine.
We shall have two rallies and two distributing centres. At Tokoma S/C and Magoro S/C.” Harold Posted on his page.

This move follows the successful donation in Isingiro district in Western Uganda where hundreds were saved from dying.

Among the people who have spear headed the delivery of the donation is the four times presidential candidate Dr. Kiiza Besigye.
