Minister Kabafunzaki
State Minister for Labor, Employment and Industrial relations Herbert Kabafunzaki has said that whatever is happening around him is a set up.
He was speaking this to the Media at Buganda road court where he was brought for his first court hearing following the UGX 30M scandal.
Kabaziguruka also added that he never called the gentleman from AYA group of companies for a meet up only sighting that he was at Serena Hotel for Lunch with his daughter.
“I didn’t call that man from AYA to meet up. I was at Serena Hotel having lunch with my daughter.” Kabaziguruka said.
He however also consoled himself that the head of state H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni knows that he is not not a corrupt person.
“The good thing President Museveni knows that I’m innocent. I’m a man of God” he added.
The Anti-Corruption Court will rule on Minister Herbert Kabafunzaki’s bail application tomorrow and he has been sent to Luzira Prison.
Rukiga County Member of Parliament was arrested while receiving a UGX30m bribe from Aya Group Officials at Kampala Serena Hotel on Sarturday evening.
