Lukwago (C) MP Allan Ssewanyana (L) and MP Moses Kasibante in Luzira
City lawyer and Kamapala city Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago has on Wednesday afternoon visited Luzira prison.
Lukwago who was together with Rubaga North Legistlator Moses Kasibante and the Makindye East MP Hon. Allan Ssewanyana had gone to visit Kawempe south MP Hon. Mubarak Munyagwa and Dr. Stella Nyanzi who are all in Luzira on remand.
Their visit shocked the security team at Luzira that wanted to deny them entry but this was all in vain.
Munyagwa commonly known as ‘Mugati Gwa Bata’ was remanded to civil prison over failure to pay sh100m he owes a one John Baptist Maali.
In the same fate, Dr. Stella Nyanzi is also in Luzira on a cyber-harassment count (in the computer misuse act) where it’s alleged she insulted President Museveni. She is however expected to re appear in court on 25th April.
