Miria Matembe
Former Ethics and Integrity minister Hon. Miria Matembe attacked government for detaining Makerere University senior Researcher Dr. Stella Nyanzi.
Speaking while appearing on NBS Front-line talk show on Thursday night, Matembe added that Dr. Nyanzi didn’t deserve to be arrested since she speaks the same language that President Museveni uses.
“However in all this, I don’t agree with Stella Nyanzi’s arrest and persecution yet even Museveni uses the same language.”
Stella Nyanzi, was arrested and charged of Cyber harassment where it’s alleged that she insulted President Museveni via Facebook.
She is currently on remand in Luzira Prison and expected to re appear in court on 25th April.
