Bobi Wine’s Victory pulls Mbabazi out of political hibernation

Ex-PM Amama Mbabazi

The former presidential candidate and Ex-Prime Minister John Patrick Amama Mbabazi has finally gotten out of his longtime political hibernation following the tremendous victory of Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.

The hotly contested Kyadondo East by Election race that forced Mbabazi to post a congratulatory tweet after a while as seen below.

President Yoweri Museveni in 2016 elections politically thumped Mbabazi when he failed to raise even 5% of the votes casted a reason that forced the veteran lawyer to give politics a break.

Mbabazi went silent as a grave ever since only to be heard from last month with a tweet or two congratulating Muslims for completing the holy month of Ramadhan.

Omubanda Wa Kabaka beat rivals; Sitenda Sebalu, opposition FDC’s Apollo Kantinti and independents; Muwadda Nkunyingi, Sowedi Kayongo Male and Edward Kasasa hands down.

Bobi Wine polled 25,659 votes followed by Kantinti with 1,832, Sitenda with 4,566 votes, Muwada with 575 votes and lastly Kayongo with 377 votes.
