Uganda Cranes intensify preparations ahead of South Sudan return leg

The Uganda National team has intensified training ahead of the 1st round return leg of the Total CHAN Kenya 2018 campaign against South Sudan.

The team has conducted day two of non residential training since return from South Sudan on Saturday at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo.

Defender Savio Kabugo told journalists that he is confident that Uganda will eliminate South Sudan and get through to the next stage of the qualifiers.

“I have confidence that we will eliminate South Sudan and get to the next stage of the qualifiers because players are well determined and motivated for the challenge” Kabugo noted.

Kabugo added that amidst the challenge faced by some players at the artificial turf, the time they have trained at the Star Times Stadium is enough for them to acclimatize to it.

Team resumes training on Wednesday 18, July 2017 at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo.
