Don’t amend constitution, Transform the Ghetto, Bobi Wine tells Museveni

Bobi Wine

The self-proclaimed Ghetto Gladiator Bobi Wine has again thrown his weight in the preaching against the proposed 2017 constitutional amendment.

Speaking while appearing on KFM Super Star Friday hosted by Brian Mulondo and Malaika Nnyanzi on 11th August, Bobi Wine said president Museveni is supposed to be thinking about transforming the Ghetto not amending the constitution.

Bobi Wine added that the problem with African leaders concentrate on what benefits their families not the society.

“These leaders are selfish, they want good things for themselves and their families leaving the Ghetto people in filthy backwardness forgetting that when your neighbours are hungry, your property is never safe because they are bound to rob you.”  Bobi Wine said.

Though there is a move by the state to amend the constitution, Several Ugandans include civil society organizations, Opposition and some ruling party officials have shown their dissatisfaction towards the move to scrap off the presidential age limit (Article 102) citing that its intended to block peaceful transition of power.
