Don’t cause violence here, Go to court – Uhuru tells Raila

President Uhuru

Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta has asked all losers dissatisfied with the election outcome to take constitutional measures to get redress but not causing violence.

Uhuru made this statement while addressing the Media at Harambee house in Nairobi on 14th August where added that the government would not allow the disruption of other people’s lives and property in that process.

“I will continue to appeal to those who are not satisfied to use the legal mechanism which has been created by our wonderful constitution because all Kenyans have a constitutional right to express themselves in a peaceful manner.” Uhuru said.

It should be noted that this was his first public appearance after the electoral agency IEBC declared him winner of August 8 elections.

Uhuru added that time for politics is done therefore all Kenyans need to come together and develop their country.

He however also the thanked the police for a sterling job keeping law and order throughout the electioneering period, but urged them to exercise the greatest of restraint when dealing with any protestors.
