Some of the aspects to be covered during the two week course are; football administration ethics and modules, Sports science, Sports psychology, football refereeing dynamics, goalkeeping ethics, physiotherapy and the cordial football relationship between the coach and the media.

Tangosport Uganda’s Managing Director Joseph Mutaka applauded CAF for giving team the opportunity to organise the course.

“I take the opportunity to thank CAF for entrusting and endorsing us with the rights to organise this course. I can’t forget to applaud our esteemed sponsors for the continued financial and material support, the coaches for responding to our call and turned-up in huge numbers. It is our belief at Tangosport, these courses will not only help capacity building but also brigde the huge and sensitive football coaching gap that has in the past denied our local coaches opportunities at the helm in Uganda and abroad ‘ Mutaka remarked.

CAF Instructor, FUFA Technical Director and Chief Guest Asuman Lubowa credited FUFA and CAF for their tireless endeavours to foster football development through Capacity building in Uganda.

‘I thank CAF for their tireless endeavours taunted to football development and professionalism in Uganda. Capacity building has been prioritized to bolster football development across Africa that will empower the coaches with the technical ability to sustain and handle crucial football coaching challenges streamlined to football professionalism’ Lubowa said.

“An assessor from the Continental Football Governing body CAF will assess these coaches next week to ascertain and establish their oral and practical ability to execute and showcase the Football coaching basics and modules’ added Lubowa who is also a CAf Instructor.
