Nyanzi with party Chairman Birigwa
Famous Makerere university academician Dr Stella Nyanzi, has this Friday officially joined opposition Forum for Democratic Change [FDC] political party.
Her coming, jets in the very day the most defiance oriented leader Patrick Amuriat takes office as the party’s president after winning a hotly contested race.
Nyanzi bought her party membership card and filled an application form at FDC head offices in Najjanankumbi along Entebbe road and handed it over to the party chairman Ambassador Waswa Birigwa.
“After much thought, I have joined the Forum for Democratic Change immediately after the swearing in ceremony of the new party president, I am very desperate for change in Uganda,” Nyanzi said.
She said FDC is the political party where she finds true fellowship with people invested in ousting President Museveni and ending the military dictatorship.
