Uganda Cranes embark on title defence mission ahead of Burundi CECAFA Match

    Uganda Cranes Vs Burundi – Kakamega (3 p.m)

Uganda Cranes held their final training session on Sunday evening at  Bukhungu stadium in Kakamega ahead of the first CECAFA game against Burundi on Monday.

All players are fit and ready for action as the tournament record winners (with 14 titles) look forward to claiming another title.

“Everything is moving on as planned. My only worry is for some of the youngsters on the team who may get stage fright. We are ready for the successful CECAFA defence” Basena noted.

Uganda is also the tournament defending champion from the last edition played in Ethiopia (2015).
