Singer Angela Kalule Dedicates This Wednesday’s Unplugged show to Radio

Singer Angella with her band

As the world continues to mourn the untimely death of Goodlyfe star, Mowzey Radio, several artists have eulogized the star in many different ways, with the latest ones being Angela Kalule.

Kalule who is expected to be performing live on Unplugged Sn 2 this Wednesday has planned with Liquid Silk Nalya for a tribute to the fallen music icon.

While details of the tribute are not yet clear, both Angela and Liquid Silk Management confirmed that this Wednesday’s show will be slightly different, as the establishment pays its respects.

It appears that management of the swanky establishment decided on the tribute because of its fondness with the Dynamic Duo. Indeed, on 6th December 2017, Radio and Weasel performed to a cheering audience at Liquid Silk.

Angela Kalule who is famous for her “Katikitiki” song started singing from a young age. She made it big in music when she joined Diamond Ensembe, where she sang as back up vocalist since 1997.

Since shooting to fame in 1997 with several hits, the star has remained a darling of many Ugandans, with hits such as Katikitiki still getting airplay at functions and some radio stations

As we continue to celebrate the life of Radio, we definitely think Unplugged has to be a place to continue celebrating the life. We shall bring you upgrades as they unfold.
