Following the arrest of former Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura, several people have given their points view with many pointing hands at the embattled general.

On the opposite side is the Kisoro district LC V chairman Mr. Abel Bizimana who has said he is ready to die for embattled former IGP Kale Kayihura.

In a statement made via his facebook account, said he is not embarrassed to stand with Kayihura.

“I am a Ugandan and know that anything can happen to anybody. The government he served and put him in difficult situation has disowned him. I can’t disown him even when those he tormented on behalf of government do sympathise with him. It’s a good deal of working that went sour.” He said.

Bizimana added that as a trained counselor, he knows that all that the IGP needs is comfort and hope of overcoming the trying times.

“I’m skilled to give psychosocial support to people with chronic illnesses, social deviants, prisoners, those with postraumatic disorders, prisoners on death row, women suffering from domestic and sexual violence, people with AIDS, the disadvantaged, downtrodden and hated. I am enjoying doing what I went to school to do not withstanding my political position politicians who are lawyers have not abandoned their jobs. Mundekemu. I am seeing that in Uganda, you can’t be sure. Anything can happen anytime. Be strong KK. We welcomed you home with your boss. We stand with you when you are suffering.” He added.

Kayihura was arrested last week and currently detained at Makindye army barracks over cases related to abuse of office.
