Human rights activist Frank Gashumba has said that he does not regret supporting Dr Kizza Besigye but only what he regrets is being associated with the opposition.
While appearing on NBS Telvision on Sunday afternoon, Gashumba also attacked the Uganda police for fighting and harassing some individuals and mostly the poor people in Kampala.
“Every time you see heavy police deployment, either Besigye is in town or the poor people are being harassed” said Gashumba.
The Sisimuka Uganda boss also deprecated the manner Kampala city Park Yard Vendors were evicted by government.
“Surprisingly, Jennifer Musisi is not part of the people behind Nakivubo Park Yard eviction. It’s Beti Kamya Namisango. The other day I heard IGP Kale Kayihura saying police are investigating the goons who were wielding sticks. We are not stupid. It took them hours to smoke out Amama Mbabazi supporters who clashed with President Museveni supporters during elections in Ntungamo” said Gahumba.
