The signing ceremony of the Grant Agreement between the Sahara and Sahel Observatory and Government of Uganda was held on 9th March 2017.

The agreement was signed by Hon. Matia Kasaijja the Minister of Finance, planning and Economic development on behalf of Uganda and witnessed by Dr. Callist Tindimugaya Commissioner Water Resources Planning and Regulations Department who represented the Minister of Water and Environment.
