Inspector General of Police Gen Kale Kayihura has appointed AIGP Asan Kasingye, to take over the police Force’s Spokesperson position.
AIGP Assan Kasingye, the Director of Interpol replaces late AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi who was shot dead by unknown gunmen last week along with his two body guards.
Kasingye will also serve as the police force’s Chief Political Commissar.
In a communication to all police units, the Inspector General of Police Kale Kayihura also appointed AIGP Fred Yiga to replace Kasingye as the Director of Interpol and International Relations.
