Tamale Mirundi a Famous political analyst has advised the embattled Democratic Party (DP) president Norbert Mao to suspend the indiscipline party members if he wishes to see the party progress.
This statement follows the birth of another faction of (the Good and Bad DP) spearheaded by the Mukono legislator Hon. Betty Nambooze who doubles as the Vice President of the Buganda region.
Speaking with appearing NBS Television on Tuesday morning, Tamale added that Nambooze’s mission is not to save DP but instead cripple it since her recommendations and critics and mere sentiments but not applicable in the governance of the Party.
“Mao should not compromise Nambooze, there should be no negotiations, He is the party president and he can have her fired before bringing the party down” Tamale said.
Following outbreak of these grievances in the Democratic Party, several scholars have continuously accused party President Norbert Mao for suffocating with the use of excessive powers and disrespecting some party members something that has resorted to multiple defections to other Political parties like Forum for Democratic Party (FDC) and the National Resistance Party (NRM).
