Besigye shocks Toroma police, tactically visits injured residents

Former presidential aspirant Dr. Kiiza Besigye has again dodged police in Toroma as it tried to stop him from checking on the people who were injured during the scuffle between police and his supporters.

Besigye who is in Katakwi to offer relief to the locals was earlier today blocked from distributing food to the hungry residents on grounds that police had to first examine it before being given out.

This result forced Besigye to make a decision to check on people at Toroma Health Centre IV, who were injured by Police.

Though police tried police attempted to block him but he tactically doged them and visited the patients without police consent until when when moved out leaving everyone in a shock.

Besigye later laid a wreath at the burial place of Okiror Samuel who died of poison in 2010 and the late Hon. Cyrus Amodoi.
