VIDEO: Jobless brotherhood threaten to throw pigs over Sim Card registration

 

Activists under the Jobless brotherhood have vowed to throw more pigs to Parliament and other government offices if SIM Cards are disconnected.

Speaking to Journalist in Kampala, the team lead by Norman Tumuhimbise insist that UCC is inadequate to cover the millions of Ugandans who use mobile phones.

On 18th April, the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) was dragged to the High Court in Kampala over its 7-day ultimatum issued to Ugandans to re-register their sim-cards or they risk being switched-off.

This move was however extended to 19th May on the directive from the Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda.

The Jobless Brotherhood who describe themselves as a nonpartisan youth platform for exposing and curbing youth exploitation, manipulation, desertion, unemployment and corruption in Uganda.

They have thrown pigs to several government offices more than three times with the recent time in Late last year at Parliament when they even branded pigs with names of Legislators.
