The well attended press conference on Wednesday afternoon was held in Mengo, Kampala graced by the chairperson of the Committee, Sam Bakiika. It was broadcast live on the football radio 102.1 FUFA fm

Bakiika briefed the media on the smooth progress of the entire electoral process where the nominations exercise at district level was a smooth exercise.

‘I sincerely appreciate the role of media in this entire campaign where they have tried to sensitize the public about the process’ Bakiika noted.

He also handed over some of the certificates named Declaration of Candidature for the respective successful candidates from the district football associations.

Dirisa Kasalirwe one of the three delegates from Rubaga district received FUFA President Eng. Moses Hassim Magogo’s certificate since the incumbent FUFA Presidential candidate is away on official duties in Egypt.
