Bobi Wine wants FDC to withdraw Kantinti candidature

Famous Ugandan artist Robert Kyagulanyi has this morning meet the FDC top leadership to find a way of harmonizing the situation in Kyadondo East by-election.

Among the issues talked about included keeping the people in the area united amidst the busy political season.

However Bobi Wine Via his Facebook page revealed how he wants the party to withdraw Apollo Kantnti’s candidature so that opposition has overwhelmingly win the seat.

“I also suggested that FDC withdraws it’s candidate Hon. Apollo Kantinti in favour of my candidature so that we can win with an even bigger margin than we are already doing”. Bobi Wine stated.

Omubanda Wa Kabaka further highlighted urged the locals to support him regardless of political party’s since his mission is to advocate for the rights and empower the local person a type of leadership the constituency has been missing for decades.

“I await their decision. In the meantime, we are warming up for nomination tomorrow morning at Kasangati Saza grounds and there after,i will address a rally at Wampeewo grounds. I hope my FDC family joins the winning team.”

Kyadondo East parliamentary seat went vacant following the nullification of the victory of FDC’s Apollo Kantinti over election malpractices and irregularities.

Bobi Wine will be contesting against FDC’s embattled MP Hon. Apollo Katinti, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate Sitenda Sebalu who was the former area MP and other candidates to confirmed after nomination day.
