FDC, Uganda’s biggest opposition party, says President Museveni’s State of the Nation address will be incomplete if he limits it to his usual talk, instead of highlighting the security problem in the country as well as the food crisis that has left many starving.
FDC’s deputy spokesperson Paul Mwiru says the growing insecurity in the country including the murders of top officials like AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi should not be left out.
The Busiro East legislator Hon. Medard Lubega Segoona told Radiocity, the speech will be incomplete without mention of a succession plan.
The president’s speech starts at 2pm later today and will be delivered before Parliament converging at the Serena Conference Center.
