KCCA Kawempe Councilor Muhammad Ssegirinya has secured medication for 20 year old breast Cancer patient from Masaka region towards the boarder of Uganda and Tanzania.
Ssegirinya reveals that he got to know about the young lady through a whistle blower who saw the being tossed at Masaka referral Hospital in much pain but without any assistance since she could not settle the dues needed by the hospital.
According to the patient’s mother, she has been sick for about two years and apparently the breast has swollen about 5 times more than its normal size.
With Ssegirinya’s efforts, the lady is now admitted at Nsambya Hospital and according to the doctors, about 4 Million Uganda shillings is needed to cater for her operation.
