Wakiso District National Resistance Movement (NRM) chairman Haji Abdul Kiyimba survived being Lynched by Bobi Wine supporters.
Chaos marred at some polling stations when Kiyimba was chased out of Magere polling station where independent candidate Robert Kyagulanyi voted from.
Police also later denied him access to Wampewo polling station as his presence was not trusted by the locals.
He attempted to pull out apisto to intimidate people but residents merged with police managed to force him out.
Earlier Bibi Wine supporters were shortly arrested and denied for some time and freed when pressure from residents amounted.
