The 3 goalkeepers in training : Tom Ikara, Saidi Keni and Ismail Watenga

On Tuesday evening, the Uganda Cranes covered day four of non residential training ahead the Western Region Ttour and CHAN 2018 Kenya qualifiers.

The training session was conducted after a heavy downpour at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole in Kampala.

Long serving goalkeeping coach Fred Kajoba expressed his delight about the development of young goalkeepers who were summoned for national duty.

Ismael Watenga, Ikara Tom and Said Keni are the three goalkeepers in training.

Whereas Watenga has worked under him for a long time, he also saluted Ikara and Saidi whom he praised for acclimatizing at a high rate .

“I am happy with the rate at which the young players especially goal keepers are developing. They are always eager to learn and also respond to instructions and anyone can realise the difference from the time we started training” said Kajjoba
