The mood at the vigil of Democratic Party President emeritus Dr. Ssebaana John Kizito turned chaotic the party members clashed.
The shameful incident sparked off when the Kampala city Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago with his delegation arrived at in Luwero at Ssebaana’s home.
The pro Norbert Mao ‘Good DP faction’ led by one Mpande-Kalule, wanted to block Lukwago from accessing the venue a scenario that destabilized the mourners.
However police was able to control the situation when it repulsed the angry youths.
Lukwago was later received by Buganda Kingdom premier Katikiro Charles Peter Mayega and the burial arrangements had to proceed.
