The National Resistance Movement-NRM party vice Chairman Al Hajji Moses Kigongo, has said that those mixing and raising up discussion on the presidential age limit don’t wish well for Uganda.
Kigongo said this while addressing the NRM PWDs delegates at Mandela National Stadium this afternoon ahead of the election of PWDs representatives to parliament on Tuesday.
He argued that the presidential age limit debate was unnecessary since leadership comes from God.
Debate on the presidential age limit came up after it emerged that a section of NRM legislators were plotting to amend article 102(b) of the Constitution, which sets the presidential age limit at 75 years.
