Kampala Minister Hon. Betty Kamya
The Minister for Kampala Hon. Betty Kamya has slammed all the haters attacking her for supporting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the age limit bid.
The former presidential aspirant adds that everyone has a right to support any candidate, political party at any time, ‘therefore I doesn’t care about people’s opinions and attitude.’
She also added that she has no time for every ‘Tom and Jerry’ and political failures especially Dr. Kiiza Besigye who spent over UGX 10B on himself during the previous 2016 elections forgetting that he needed numbers in parliament to defend his missions.
Kamya an opposition member was appointed Minister for Kampala in 2016 replacing Hon. Frank Tumwebaze who is currently the Minister of Information and National Guidance. Kamya had miserably lost the Lubaga North Parliamentary race to Hon. Moses Kasibante.
Other Opposition Members Betty Kamaya was appointed along with include Hon. Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi who was appointed Minister for Youth after she was defeated by Forum for Democratic Change (FDC)’s Nabiila Nagai and the wife the opposition Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) Party President Jimmy Akena’s Wife Hon. Betty Amongi who is currently the State Minster of Lands.
