Ofwono Opondo the Government spokesperson, has criticized Dr. Kizza Besigye, for supporting rowdy behavior among politicians in the country.
Speaking in relation to the unrealistic event that happened in Namboole where local government leaders baptized Justice Minister, Kahinda Otafiire with cold water.
He made this statement on Thursday night while appearing on NBS TV “Frontline” programme where he told Besigye face-to-face that it was wrong for leaders like Besigye to support rowdy behaviour because it makes political air foul
Opondo however also confessed that Rowdy behaviour among politicians is not new; we have seen MPs in Parliament behave in a similar manner,”
“I think we are fouling our own political environment because we are the ones saying we should entrench political democracy.”
