Stop provoking Ugandans, leave our land alone – FDC warns Museveni

Harold Kaija Left with some legislators Betty Nambooze, Muwanga Kivumbi, Ssemujju Nganda in Nakulabye on Thursday

The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Party Secretary General Harold Kaija has advised president Museveni to coil his tail and to stop provoking Ugandans with his useless constitutional amendments.

Kaija made this statement in Nakulabye a Kampala Suburb on Thursday during the Anti-Land reforms campaign that was organized to educate locals about the dangers of the proposed land bill in Parliament.

He said that President Museveni does not wish Ugandans well but only interested in seeing everyone homeless.

“If Museveni cared about Ugandans, he would be concentrating on people’s livelihood, development, protecting their land among others but not robbing them of the little they have.” Kaija said.

Kaija further added that Uganda tops the countries with the largest number of refugees in Africa but it’s surprising that Museveni has forgotten why people become refugees.

He advised Museveni to be a little more intelligent and avoid being misled by his hungry and unpatriotic ministers like Betty Kamya and Hon. Col. Abiriga.

“Museveni personally said that he wants to quit at 75 but he is being abstracted by unfocused Ministers who are only interested in robbing Ugandans. That’s why all of them are battling Court cases   over land evictions.”  Kaija said..
