Almost everyone in the house went blink-less when the super talented Vocalists bounded the stage during the prestigious Young Achievers Awards held at the Kampala Serena Hotel on Saturday 12th August.
Naava Grey the diva behind Nteredde hit pressed the audience to silence when she rose from back stage singing alone the famous Same Way song by Geosteady Ft Lydia Jazmine.
Just less than a minute, Geosteady joined the diva and briefly I can say that no one wanted the duo to leave the stage till the end of the song.
Amusement, clapping and screaming cracked the agenda when the Duo performed Soka Lami song by Naava and Speedy.
In the same plea as Naava had performed Lydia Jazmine’s part, the Tokendeza Hitmaker also gently nailed the part and no wonder if the audience was given an opportunity to award them out of 100%, the Duo would excellently get over 95%.
The Young Achievers Awards has since its inaugural Awards ceremony, recognized and celebrated outstanding youth in the Ugandan Community that have excelled in various realms such as the Arts, Entrepreneurship, Media and Journalism, Philanthropy, Innovation, Sports among others.
