President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has warned trespassers on the land belonging to Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) training schools saying its equivalent to encroachment on government land.

Museveni made these remarks while passing out over 3000 UPDF soldiers at a function held at Oliver Tambo school of Leadership Kaweweeta in Nakaseke district where he also applauded the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) leadership for their efforts in improving skills of the soldiers in the country and region at large.

“The quality of UPDF recruits keeps getting better and I salute the UPDF for it’s policy of recruits having higher education qualifications.” Museveni said.

The Commander- in-Chief of the armed forces said in the past the officers and recruits were not as highly trained as they are now. Museveni however warned the recruits against indiscipline which he said would ruin their lives.
