President of the republic of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has acknowledged the National football team the Uganda Cranes upon overpowering the Egypt Pharaohs.
In a match that was held at Mandela National stadium- Namboole, the boys managed to defeat their counterparts with 1-0 Victory that was cemented by Emma Okwi in the 50’s minute which has left a smile on the face of all Ugandans.
This has put Uganda in the leading position of group D of the World Cup qualifiers a head of Egypt, Ghana and Congo Brazzaville.
In his congratulatory message, Museveni saluted the boys for making Uganda proud, pledged more support and also said that qualifying for World Cup is possible if the performance is maintained.
