Uganda communications commission (UCC) has suspended ABS television’s broadcasting license poor programing.
According to letter dated 5th September signed by the executive director of UCC Godfrey Mutabazi, in a period of 60 days, the station has been barred from petition UCC over suspension of their license or any other claim, till when the commission is satisfied that the Kawala based station has modified and harmonized its programming content as per the law.
It should be noted that the executive director for UCC Godfrey Mutabaazi, on 28th October Pastor Iga’s station was constituted to pay UGX 25,000,000 for constant breaching of minimum broadcasting standards and the station vowed to desist from broadcasting offensive programs.
