The opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) postponed the elections of the party’s topmost position.
According to the party’s deputy Secretary General Hon. Harold Kaija revealed that this was done to allow the Party engage in grass root of LC.I and LC II happening soon.
The election for the party president has been pushed from 17th – 24th November during the delegates’ conference and the swearing in of the new president will be held on 25th November 2017.
Apparently five candidates including encampment Gen. Mugisha Muntu, former Kumi County Member of Parliament Patrick Oboi Amuriat, Kawempe South MP Mubarak Munyagwa, FDC Youth wing chief mobiliser Moses Byamugisha and Dan Matsiko Malcom, a businessman-cum-politician are in different parts of the country hunting for votes left aright.
