A Uganda People’s Defense Force colonel attached to Nakasongola Air Defense has died in a motor accident. The deceased is Colonel David Katorogo.
He met his death in an accident at 8:40am this morning at Lavender Kagavu along Mityana -Mubende Highway
Colonel David Katorogo was driving a landcruiser vehicle registration number H4DF 970 together with his wife, Beatrice Asimwe, son and bodyguard, Masin Guma.
Colonel Katorogo died on spot while the other traveler sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Mubende hospital.
The Police Traffic and Road Safety Spokesperson, Charles Ssebambulidde, says Katorogo’s vehicle lost control and veered off the road before it overturned because of the heavy rains.
