Following the recent murder of women in Entebbe and Nansana municipality, another unidentified woman was found dead in Entebbe municipality near Mpala Police Station.
Her body was discovered today morning by residents in the area who later informed police officers who have confirmed the murder and announced it to the public.
‘’It is true that the woman was murdered during the night and her body has been discovered today morning. Police has done what it is supposed by taking the body for post mortem and it is after we get the results that we will be able to give you more details.’’
Announced the Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIGP. Asan Kasingye. Unfortunately, no one has been able to recognize the body of the woman or claim to have an idea about her identity.
Police is trying to investigate and find out her relatives so that they help in the investigations and pick her body after post mortem has been carried out.
The murder or this woman has now raised the number of women that have been killed to 22 within a period of three months. Still, there is no clear report about the matter besides the one presented by State Minister of Internal Affairs claiming that these murders were connected to witch craft and ritual sacrifices.
Women activists however have asked the government to create a public holiday so that they can pray for their country and also the souls of the women that have been mysteriously murdered.
