As Uganda police forces embark of mega deployments in Kampala city, Anti-age limit removal protests have rocked Lira Town.
According to the Youth who held placards written on words like ‘Enough is Enough’ said that it’s the right time government respected the constitution for the sake of the future generation.
However as the group matched peacefully in the town, police officers reacted with dispersing them using teargas an event that brought business in the area at a standstill for about an hour.
Police yesterday warned Ugandans against holding anti age limit demonstrations and instead directed them to use media houses or hold indoor meeting.
