Learn to respect will of Kenyans, Uhuru raps Odinga as war of nerves deepens

President Uhuru Kenyatta has asked his rival, Opposition leader Raila Odinga to respect the will of Kenyans.

He was responding to Raila who had urged him to respect old men during the funeral ceremony of Rachel Shebesh’s father.

Uhuru said he respects old men but asked Raila to respect the will of Kenyans, in regard to the presidential repeat election.

His remarks comes amidst calls by NASA to boycott the October 26 repeat election until the electoral body is re-constituted President Uhuru Kenyatta has personally asked NASA leader Raila Odinga to respect the will of Kenyans in the repeat election which is barely 4 weeks away.

Uhuru and Raila met face to face for the first time since the nullification of the Presidential election at the late former Nairobi mayor Samuel Mbugua’s funeral.

The President, while addressing mourners, took a slight jab at Raila Odinga by requesting him to respect the outcome of the coming repeat elections.
