Kampala Central legislator, Muhammad Nsereko has summoned the Inspector General of Police General Kale Kayihura over the conduct of the Uganda Police force.
Speaking to the Journalists during a presser at parliament on Monday, the chairperson of the Equal opportunities committee of Parliament, accused the police of being used by President Museveni to discriminatingly administer their powers at the expense of those that are not in support of the government
Nsereko noted that the committee wants an answer from Kayihura regarding the increase of nepotism, politicking, unfair promotion and intimidation and harassment of those opposed to the presidential age limit
Nsereko was last week summoned by the police over offensive communication. Police accused the MP of making statements that incite violence. He is quoted to have called for a fist fight at the floor of parliament.
