Another episode of the campaign on lifting the Presidential age Limit has been launched today at Sunset Hotel Entebbe.
This campaign was carried out by the NRM Social Media activists (NRM SOMA) under the Chairmanship of Nsangiranabo Erasmus.
According to the team, this campaign is intended to neutralize opposition criticisms against the presidential age Limit bill that will be tabled on the floor of parliament tomorrow 26/09/2017.
Nsangirabo also further indicated that President Museveni is still strong and capable of leading the country for more terms.
“Those fighting the removal of the Age Limit are those involved in personal crushes with President Museveni. If they think he is not capable, they should present their legible candidates to contest against President Museveni in the coming 2021 free elections conducted by the Independent Electoral Commission.” He said.
He also added that they are facing a challenge of opposition leaders who print NRM and use them trying to create a bad image to the party.
He noted the advantages of the removal of Article 102(b) from the constitution; being segregative in nature.
“Those claiming that Museveni is too old to lead the country should take examples from; America’s Trump who is 73 years and still capable of running for another term, look at Japan’s economy which has a leader who is 81 years he noted.
