The Uganda Cranes started day one of residential training at Mandela National Stadium Namboole on Sunday evening.
The fourteen players attended the single evening session inclusive of foreign based Denis Iguma and Ivan ‘Kojja’ Ntege.
This is follows preparation for the must win 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia qualifier match against Ghana.
After the training session Ivan Ntege told journalists that he is set for the challenge and it’s the reason why he arrived earlier than others.
” I personally I’m too set for the encounter and it’s the reason why I’ve arrived earlier for better preparations” Said Ntege.
Kojja added that he anticipates for positive results against the Black Stars on the 7th October thus opening up Uganda’s chances of appearing for the first time to the world’s most precious football tournament.
