A group of angry voters have started the move to recall the Jinja West Member of Parliament Hon. Moses Grace Balyeku over false age limit statements.
Speaking to the media, the voters accuse their lawmaker for handling the issue as an individual yet parliament directed them to consult the voters.
They also accuse him of being segregative since there rumors implicating him of holding closed door meetings with some unknown people in Kampala a place which is not even part of Busoga where they emanate from.
“Balyeku is a lair, Busoga people have never been consulted about age limit removal. We are being betrayed by our very own, he needs to come home and consult us not holding closed door meetings with unknown people in Kampala a place which is not even part of Busoga.” Said the voters.
Due to such complains, the voters have decided to begin collecting signatures to have the lawmaker impeached from the house over failure to fufilfil his role as a member of parliament not a party cadre.
It should be noted that Hon. Moses Balyeku is the lawmaker who seconded the tabling of the controversial age limit removal the day it was presented to the House by the Igara Member of Parliament Hon. Raphael Magezi.
