Following the unfortunate scandal that involved Arua Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Ibrahim Abiriga urinating on the wall of the Ministry of Finance and planning building, a group of activists have started a Keep Kampala City Clean campaign aimed at curbing such actions.
The team led by Kawempe KCCA councilor Muhammad Ssegirnya has procured a number multi-coloured Portable Baby Toilets commonly known as ‘Potty’ which are now up for grabs at a zero cost.
According to Ssegirinya, these potties will be distributed to people with a number of challenges saying that Hon. Abiriga will be the first beneficiary.
He notes that this move is in good faith purposely to save people from getting embarrassed while trying to ease themselves along different Kampala streets.
This afternoon, Arua Municipality Member of Parliament, Ibraham Abiriga was fined with Shs40,000 for being a public nuisance.
Kampala City Hall Court set him free after he pleaded guilty and accepted to pay the fine.
It is recalled that a few weeks ago, the Yellow man was nabbed urinating on Ministry of finance wall fence.
The lawmaker had earlier admitted in a televised interview to have stopped and eased himself since he was badly off.
“I was badly off. Should I have kept urine on myself? What is the problem with that?” Abiriga said.
