MP Kivumbi blasts Gen. Tumwine over age limit threats as Butambala okays Togikwatako

Butambala Member of Parliament Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi has called upon Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) Representative Gen Elly Tumwine to stop threatening him and his residents over age limit.

Speaking while on CBS FM on Wednesday night, Kivumbi said that the bush war veteran stormed Butambala a head of his age limit consultative meeting and summoned some of the district councilors and warned them to stay away from the controversial bill.

Kivumbi adds that UPDF officials don’t deserve to engage in politics because it’s against their mandate.

Meanwhile, Butambala has overwhelmingly called upon the area lawmakers not to be tempted to touch the constitution.

This was reached in a consultative meeting where they insisted that it’s time for Change regardless of the head of State’s good governance.

The locals also praised Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi for returening the shs 29m age limit money which was described as evil money that honest and patriotic leaders don’t need get close to.
