The famous ‘freedom’ star and legislator Bobi Wine, has confessed that he does not win most of the international awards as expected because Eddy Kenzo always wins all the awards for him.
While applauding the Stamina and AFRIMA award winner on his social media platform today morning, Bobi Wine celebrated Eddy Kenzo by acknowledging his determination and perseverance to lift his music career to an unbelievable level in a short period of time.
“I’ve watched Eddy Kenzo rise from nothing to a superstar. He’s another evidence that everything is possible. So proud to be part of your story.” He said.
Much still, Bobi wine says that he does not win such huge awards because he believes that it is only right for someone he partly groomed to win the awards meant for him.
“When asked why I don’t win awards, I always say that Kenzo wins them for me. Congs Musuuza upon your win.” Bobi wine added.
Bobi wine has further called upon many other musicians to celebrate their each other’s success instead of loathing them and trying hard to rain on their success. He believes that working together is the only way the Ugandan music industry can be taken to a greater level.
This comes after Eddy Kenzo won the recently concluded AFRIMA2017 awards as the best East African male artiste beating Diamond Platnumz and Alikiba.
