Dr. Kalisa with Bobi Wine

Famous political analyst Dr. A.A Kalisa has thrown Ugandans in silence following the statement he released words describing the Kyadondo East Lawmaker Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine as a political mediocre.

Speaking while appearing on NBS TV during the weekend, Kalisa said that Bobi Wine has to draw lines between politics and music if he wishes to survive and remain relevant.

“I was among the people who got excited when Bobi Wine showed ambitions to run for the MP job, I was impressed with his manifesto and because I love the youth, I indeed saw a changed man, but I am disappointed Bobi Wine is still a Ghetto boy as usual.” He stated.

He added that the musician turned politician should stop shouting and complaining on everything because people will soon get used to his same beat cries something that will throw him a million meters away from the political scene.

Taking an example on how some members of Parliament from the North like Odonga Otto have remained relevant in the August house, Kalisa also advises Bobi Wine to work together with President Museveni so that he can have something to do the ground.

“”Bobi Wine needs to work with Museveni. This will not make him NRM but it will help him lobby some projects for his constituency something that will keep him relevant to his voters. How do you think leaders like Odonga Otto have remained to track and in parliament for all that long? They attack the Head of State but when it comes constituency matters they sit on the round table and have something done for their people and if he doesn’t do that, he will face a lot of challenges.” He said.

On giving his take on Bobi Wine’s alleged presidential ambitions, Kaliisa made it clear that Bobi Wine should not be over ambitious citing that he still  has change to win another term as MP so he should not cut his chances by chewing what he can’t bite.
