The Minister of Science Technology and Innovation, Hon. Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye, yesterday conducted bilateral discussion with the Brazilian Minister of Science, Technology Innovation and Communications.
In a lengthy meeting that was held in the presence of the President of Brazil Africa Institute Prof. Joao Bosco Monte, involved a number of issues including a possible visit of the Brazilian Minister to Uganda as well as training of Ugandan scientists in Brazil.
Hon. Tumwesigye described Uganda as Africa’s investment hub gifted with nature, skilled labour, stable security and a millennial population that guarantees market for products.
Sheema North constituency lawmaker implored Brazillians to visit the pearl of Africa and set up businesses here in Agriculture, Health, Oil and gas, education among other sectors.
