POA With Muntu
Newly elected party president of the Forum for Democratic Change Hon. Patrick Amuriat Oboi has this afternoon taken oath.
In a prestigious event held at the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi a Kampala suburb, different party officials gave touching remarks and advise to the former Kumi lawmaker as they ushered him in the party’s topmost job.
Speaking at the same event, the outgoing party president Gen. Mugisha Muntu advised Amuriat to become careful with some party members.
: “Oboi, you are entering a very difficult position but I will give you advice and I will be there. Be careful about some of the people you’re going to work with.”
He added that some people’s intensions are never aimed at guiding you but instead interested in seeing you in a mess.
Amuriat becomes the third party president following Gen. Mugisha Muntu and vocal opposition doyen Dr. Kiiza Besigye.
