Basena names Uganda Cranes players travelling for CECAFA 2017 Senior Challenge Championship

The final team for Uganda Cranes travelling to Kenya for the CECAFA Senior Challenge cup is out.

There 22 players named by head coach Moses Basena, who will be assisted by Wasswa Bbosa.

Bbosa, also assistant to Basena at the U-23 team takes over Mathias Lule’s slot since Lule will be traveling for the COSAFA U-20 championship.

The team leaves by road on Saturday morning ahead of Monday’s opening match with Burundi in Kakamega.

Uganda Cranes, the record winners of this championship (with 14 titles), is also the tournament defending champion from the last edition played in Ethiopia (2015).
